Congrats with your new power and dont be scared to drive it a little hard.
Thanks man! Don't worry, I feel like in order to get my moneys worth I have to drive it hard!

I'd really like to bum a ride with you sometime to see what that shifter is all about. It's something I really would like to go with but im not sure if I should wait until I'm built

The reason your car didnt like to start...is because the flywheel is moving around, and the clutch was practically in pieces. Clutchmaster FX700 FTL...I will fill you in later, but she starts instantly now....haha!

I beg to differ everyone jumps on the boat so quickly... this is no garbage clutch, Clutchmastes is a great company and runs these clutches on their PRO DRIFT and DRAG cars.... also this aint no cheap clutch its 1800+, Im sure there is more reasoning behind all this, Sharif has not given me the answer to what went wrong yet. Keep in mind installation is half the key.
Also I bought this direct from Clutchmasters... the actual maker, so it defenitely has its advantages, as opposed to dealing with a middle man.

I agree, I have the lowly FX400 and it holds up great, I friend also has it and has beat the hell out of it on the drag strip with slicks as well as the road courses.

Some times what happens is if the flywheel bolts are not installed properly they can come lose and eventually break leaving the flywheel lose

Or it might just be a defective piece or had a weak component. I would send it back to the manufacturer to have them evaluate it.
