How do you have your wideband installed?
I need to install my wideband/EGT tomorrow and I'm trying to figure out the best way to run it from inside the car down to the downpipe. I would like everything to go though the passenger side rubber grommet that is next to the battery. However, trying to get it from the battery area down to the DP seems a bit tricky, best option I can see so far is running it though one of the smell holes leading to the wheel well, then tuck the wires behind the rubber undertray follow the fuel lines down then cut over to the tranny.
Is that a yay or nay idea?
also is there any options on the drivers side to get into the engine bay?

I don't have any pictures I don't think but I ran my wires through one of the rubber things between the battery and the engine compartment. I cut the rubber and neatly pushed the wires down in the rubber.

its easy to push the wires though the rubber thing, but how do you get it from the battery down to the exhaust? I don't want to half *** it and just throw it over the battery compartment, I want a nice clean route that allows for everything to look stock.

I went through the driver side, there is a similar grommet by the steering column, and then you can go straight to the downpipe. I mounted the a/f on the top side of the downpipe, about 2 feet after it leaves the turbo.

Map sensor and HKS VI will go through the passenger side rubber grommet, and if things goes as I plan the EGT and WB will go on the drivers side.
when i installed my aem wideband i found a little rubber gromet above the steering colum it is a pain in the ash and when i say that i really mean it it goes rite to the bottom of the fluid compartment on the drivers side its there its jsut hard as hell to see and get the wire threw good luck and the next best way to do it is down threw the shifter area.

Its not bad if you stick one of the flexible push button grabber thingies through it first haha. Idk the real name but its a flexible metal tube (about 3/16" in diameter, 2/12 feet long), one end has a button that you push in that extends a 4 pronged claw at the opposite end, when you release the button the claw retracts and squeezes whatever its holding. so push it through the grommet from the inside, have someone push the button and put your wire in the claw (or tie it on), then just pull it through. easy as pie.
I ran mine through the rubber boot on the passenger side that goes through the battery compartment. If you go that route, some Silicone may be helpful to seal it off from water dripping into the ECU/UTEC. I haven't had any issues with that, but a few others have.

Wide band is going in the downpipe where there's supplied bungs.
I went ahead and ran the wires down the shifter. That seemed to make the most sense. Now I need to wire everything.
fun fun fun.
