Default I can't hold idle....HELP!!

I have a JWT TT kit w/ 500 bb's on a stock block. Car was sitting for four months with a half tank of gas. Started the car and it won't hold idle. Difficult to drive. Dies , sputters and has alot of black smoke from the exhaust. Throwing SESL codes "p0506" ( low idle ... ) & "P0102" ( MAV & VAF CKT LOW INPUT). I filled the tank with 93 but no change. I replaced the crank sensor thinking it might have gone bad but still no luck. Anyone have any suggestions???

bump to top. Adrian did you make sure all your hose connections are back in place?. maf sensor hoses or any hose that might of been moved around. you can also double check your fuses on the fuse box behind the battery.
free bump just my amateur guess hopefully you can find your answer so u can be back on the road!

I will check the fuses in the morning..didn't think of that. Also considereing draining the gas to make sure it's not bad gas. Need to get a special bit to unbolt the JWT MAF sensor Z ( will do tomorrow). Will also recheck for loose hoses. Thanks !!

Check the muffler bearings sometimes they dislodge and block the exhaust flow thus causing massive back pressure leading to sputtering. Also make sure the headlight fluid is full and lastly make sure you replace the gasket between the steering wheel and drivers seat with a Pete brand gasket.

Fingers crossed on you finding the gremlins. Hope its just a case of indigestion cause by bad gas and nothing major.

I with think the jim wolf kit you need to drill a vac. fitting and line in the upper intake manifold. Don't exactly know where it runs to though. My car did this as well, Jim had to fix it. I think there is instructions about it on his web site. Or you can just bump up your idle.

We will just have to check all the vacuum lines. Next use an electrical parts spray cleaner and clean the MAF sensor. Then we will run the car and see what's going on.

Don't worry Adrian, we'll get it finished. It's 99% done.

FYI:

The problem was discovered and repaired in 5 MINUTES!!!!
Vinny Ten came to my home to pick up the car for servicing. Before loading it on a flatbed, he checked the engine and discovered.........drum roll please.......THE CLAMPS FOR THE INTERCOOLER PIPES WERE NOT PROPERLY TIGHTENED.

I had been working on the car recently and must have only THOUGHT the clamps were tight. I am taking the car to his shop to have the clamps replaced. Till then.....EASY on the boost.
