Fisrt of all you guys dont have a freaking clue what it takes to maintain a 700hp car with no expenses held back. All you 600 hp guy that think you know how much it cost to maintain a car of this caliber, don know $hit. You guys with 400 and 500hp dont even have freaking clue. Is the GTR cheaper more smart choice for me?? Hell yeah! If it cost me $6000 a year to maintain (wich it wont) its a freaking deal. Will my car destroy a GTR in a stright line??? All day long, will it hang with it at z day, not in this life time.

I think you guys need to get off louie's ***. Who are we to say how much it will cost to maintain a GTR or to say how much it cost to maintain his car. I personally have no clue what he plans on doing w/ the gtr, but i can say having a car of that caliber w/ a warranty trumps what he has right now (from a financial standpoint).

Eagle, how many miles are you planning to put on your car per year?

Is $10,000-20,000 per year (not including brakes, gas, and tires) in maintinence 'expensive' to you?

Just curious

Honestly, who really cares? If a member wants to get rid of their car, for whatever reason (financial, personal, etc.), then thats their business alone.

[QUOTE=eagletanggreen]Dude you think if maint for a Nissan was that expensive do you think Nissan would actually make this car?? [QUOTE]

Yes...this car can beat a lot of Ferraris and do 0-60 just about as fast as an $1,000,000 Enzo. I have no clue how much Ferrari maintinece costs, but I'm guessing I can't get the 33.99 special at Jiffy Lube for the oil change and tire rotate. Come on meow

See, this is the issue. You have to accept the fact it is a supercar, not an expensive Z.

Calling the GTR a 'Nissan' is like calling a Z06 a 'Chevrolet'. They are, but they aren't...if that makes sense.

I hope I am not sounding like a douche, you should absolutely, positively buy this car. It is smacking around car like they are it's ***** regularly. This is THE car you should get. All I am saying it, just be ready to pay to play. You understand more than anyone here about maintaining a serious car. The GTR is a serious car too.
