ATI Pro Charger News and Updates (to be ongoing)
Actually, its an EGT gauge (note that he said he's was going to tap into the exhaust manifold). The EGT gauge reads Exhaust Gas Temperature, which is a good indicator of proper A/F ratio. The problem is the reading will vary depending on location and other variables, so it really isn't an absolute indicator. What I mean is, once you know the car is tuned right and the A/F ratio is right, then the EGT will give you a reference point. If it deviates from this, your A/F ration has changed. Higher EGT means you're probably running lean. But without already having a reference, you can't tell if the EGT readings are correct.

Dear Fellow 350Z Enthusiasts,
It has come to our attention that there may be some confusion/issues
regarding our shipment of 350Z systems to market. We would like to offer a
chance to shed some light on that subject matter in this post.
~~ Initial shipments did feature a delay. This was largely due to a vendor of ours, experiencing a shipping delay themselves. Parts delivery (Pinion and gears) were delayed for the supercharger's construction. That since has been resolved, as fast as we could to ensure your kits delivery times.
~~ Shipping was on average delayed 6 days per system, due to the demand/vendor issues. (Meaning that after a dealer places and order, we were 6 days behind our estimated ship date)
~~ We did our best to try and estimate the demand for the kit, and passed that onto our suppliers. We do this to best suit your (consumer) needs. Since there was no product that we could base our estimations on, we did experience that delay. We looked for immediate resolution, as soon as the problem was found.
~~ The 350Z kits advertising program has yet to even start in any magazines at this time, yet has had a very high demand. We here at ATI had no idea that word would travel so fast, thus leading to an unexpected demand.
~~ We also have not yet created the brochure for our dealers, to advertise the system.
~~We are confident that by the 25th all shipments scheduled through that date will be shipped, and will resume on schedule thereafter for future shipping dates.
Speaking on the staff's behalf we are all very excited about the new line of blowers (c1-c2) and the applications on the 350z/G35. We hope just a small amount of this passion is passed onto you the customer. We would like to thank you for your support in our product.
Sincere Regards,
ATI ProCharger
PS: The 350Z/G35 blower is not the P1SC-1/P1SC-2. The kit uses a new "C2" supercharger, and is a completely different from the P1SC supercharger. This new line of blowers features all of our race technology, yet in a small package. Elements like the Dual race bearings, angle cut gears, helical billet impeller, fully CNC'd transmission, etc. Together make for "big" blower characteristics, yet in a small package.

I understand that the kit will come with a 7psi pulley standard. I heard that someone had a 5psi pulley on one of the prototypes. Will these lower boost pulleys be availible, and if so how much will they be?
I never heard that. I could be wrong however. Are you sure you aren't referring to the Stillen SC that runs 5 psi boost?
I know that they tested the Procharger with higher boost (higher than 7 psi) but I didn't know they did it will less.
Anyone know for sure?

They said that the protoype they were running had 5psi I think.

Just to clarify, I started this thread and have been promoting your product. I was told mine went out today from Mike correct?
I have been told it has went out 3 times now, I hope this is not another delay 9 more days because then some untrue statements are being told to me one to many times.
I was supposed to get a tracking number?
Mike?

Max: If you ever DO get ahold of Mike, tell him to return MY e-mails as well! I've e-mailed him two or three times now without a reply. I did get an automated "out of the office" reply once though.
I just got an email from him 2 minutes ago he has been dynoing his 100 degree heat with humidity and no tuning it put down 355 to the rear wheels.
I asked about yours and my kit lets see if I can get him away from the Dyno and to stop drooling over his to talk to us hehe P.S. that is with stock exhaust.
That's a V8 killer untuned! It's running really rich that's the latest info I have.

Max,
You are one patient man, I will tell you that. I can also wait for a part, but if I were being lied to, I would be mad.
Everyone else,
I wouldn't get on ATI's case too much about this. They seem overworked and undersupplied, and that is their fault, but the delays you are experiencing are one part of your own choice to be an early adopter of this product.
That's the breaks. Good luck to all who are ordering!

I just got off the phone with Mike@Altered......like Max said he now has 355HP at the wheels.......that's straight out of the box, and on to the stock car, which previously dynoed at 233HP at the wheels.........not bad
.......122 HP gain at the wheels, no tuning @ 7maxPSI........he has a variety of gauges on his car, and says the engine shows no sign of strain, and that it can easily handle AT LEAST another 3 PSI of boost down the road.......so we're looking at another 50HP in there eventually........(insert maniacal laughter here).......I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the guage and plugs and going dual exhuast so I am ready! Those plugs and exhaust reading are paramount though.
It's the same plugs needed for N20. NGK # PLFR6A-11 Nissan Part # 22401-5M016 might as well get ready in advance.

My name is Max and I am a modaholic (group appluads) Hi Max!
You made good points but I'm not patient I call every day hehe. I have a reputation as a jerk that needs to be upheld here LOL, J/K.
As for ATI I agree they have something everyone wants so of course they are swamped not to mention this is just one car they make kits for SEVERAL cars and every year their kits get better and their Management is very strict on their personell when it comes to Customer Service, the fact that they came here and posted says allot to me!
More than ZEX ever did.
I just called Still and asked about the Injen because it's more than 300 cheaper and they said it wasn't a true dual yet they sell it?
I what size the piping was because I was going to SC and he said who made the SC and I said ATI he said "interesting."
But he couldn't answer my question on how big the piping was other than it was the best on the market and made more HP so it didn't matter. I had already told him I owned their expensive body kit.
He said they would have to "go take measurements on the peiping and call me back."
I found that kind of odd and his attitude wasn't great so I probably won't buy there FYI.
