I'm still searching for 35 jets myself. I am now running a 75 shot, and with the boost that I will be running, I will definately be downgrading the NOS. If anyone knows where I can get a 35 shot nozzle, let me know.

Not sure if ForcedInduction took the new CO into account with his figuring, but either way, 18psi is going to make a LOT of power.
The lower compression is important for FI applications running high boost. Stock 300zx TT compression is 8.5:1 where as the NA is 10.5:1. A shop in GA experimented with slapping a set of stock turbos on an NA block with no internal changes. The most they could muster with extensive tuning was 11psi with no detonation. I think they got 340rwhp on the 11psi. There are TTs out there running 25+ psi on stock internals (upgraded turbos, obviously).
If you take the supercharger belt off, will there still be extra fuel going to the engine from the other fuel pump that comes with the supercharger? If so, won't that make the engine run too rich?
THE FMU is controlled by boost pressure. It raises fuel pressure by a set amount by how much boost it "sees'.
Lets say you are running a 4:1 FMU, for every psi of boost, the fuel pressure is raised 4 psi (or is it the other way around??

I don't know what the setup is on the ATI Kit, but as far as I know, they are using a FMU type fuel management.

just a little FYI....the VQ30DE (190hp) found in the nissan maxima from 95-01 has a 10:1 compression ratio and there are guys out there running 15psi (S/Cers and turbos) PLUS small shots of nitrous on the competely stock motor with no detonation. A while back a guy with a turbo maxima turned the boost up to 18psi before the motor popped.
The 15psi plus the small shot of juice (35hp I believe) adds up to ~420fwhp
The VQ35DE in the Z should be able to hold 14-15psi (intercooled) safely and probably put out over 500rwhp on the stock motor with no ill effects. This is all assuming that it is tuned correctly.
First of all let me say that the guys at FFP are great. They are working in 100 degree heat and 30 % humidity and doing excellent work.
Second, I could kick myself in the head because I drove out there (45 minutes North) and forgot to take pics of the FMU. It is already done and mounted in the hidden gun compartment in the storage area behind the passenger seat. You did know there was a hidden compartment there right? Just kidding about the gun, I think people keep jewelery there or something anywayZ.
I will get a pic of everything when it's all done. My exhaust (Borla Header and true dual catback) go on tomorow and then they could be done tomorow depending on how much tuning is involved. Their Dyno is a beast it's called a load bearing Dyno and the hardware and software looks nothing like the Dyno Jet it's friggen amazing (and 15 thousand dollars.) On run 2 in 100 degree weather and humidity my car pulled 237 stock on their Dyno, he said you can add up to about 7HP from my baseline from Marco's in cooler weather (which was 242) but more importantly with my headers and exhaust he expects me to be adding more boost (new pulley soon) because of the low end loss. The car will take it no problem, I will probably run 9 PSI when all is said and done we shall see. He anticipates a 60 % gain from this setup above that stock number.
I'm trying something new a temporary profile highlight link to the 3 pics I took today all on one page. Hopefully it will work Comcast has been acting wierd lately.

I'm getting a 9psi pulley also, but it's because I lose 2psi at my altitude. I'll more than likely also buy an 8psi and a 7psi pulley for when I move down in altitude. BTW, I finally ordered my SC and Borla true dual yesterday!!!!

Okay, I'm not sure I understand the point of putting headers on a forced induction vehicle?
Headers are (if properly designed) intended to help scavenge exhaust gases. To the best of my understanding, this is not necissary with forced induction.
So, what's the deal?

PS Most NA cars have over lap i believe. I think the low pressure wave of the escaping exhaust gasses help pull in the fresh air.
OK guys, here it is. I finally got a copy of Mike's initial dyno from the ATI procharger install! Keep in mind this is UNTUNED with no adjustments. You can see between 80-100mph that the A/F richens up quite a bit and you can see the corresponding power dip. Once Mike leans it out some in that range it will gain that power back.
One thing to notice is how smooooth the power curve is. The power comes on early and stays linear all the way to redline!
Hopefully Mike will get to tune it in the next week or so. He wants to take it to the strip before he tunes it to get some initial time slips to show as well.

What are you guys doing for fuel management and boost control?
I don't know what an FPU is.
Does the stock fuel system work ok with the boost?

Thanks for the dyno sheet Spencer. Those are pretty amazing numbers for a set-up just straight out of the box. Do you guys sell tires at Altered Atmosphere? I really think Mike's employee discount is gonna come in handy for him if you do.
