drool.. the size of the supercharger on the left is huge. Too bad that can't fit in the Z or can't you??? Can't wait to see what dyno results you get Max. Keep us updated.

Now the FMIC posts after all that work,

Go figure. This place has a pretty advanced Dyno. I will have baseline Dyno numbers tomorow that can't really be considered stock because the car has 8k miles on it now and it still has the CAI (bought by Zoasis and sold) and the 2.5 in Magnaflow exhaust (also sold) and the Crawford plenum. I'm interested to see what this thing puts down though like this at this Dyno.

To keep things in perspective the car at 1500 miles bone stock did 242 to the rear wheels.

Remember I still have a Zex unit in the plenum and can throw in 35HP jets if I want. My buddy said this will even aid in cooling but will make racing tougher because I will have to activate in 2nd instead of at launch (to hook.)

So to the fastest Z out there I am in your rearview and I still have N20!

[evil grin]

Does it come with a blow off valve? Can you order one from them?

The kit comes supplied with a bypass/recirculation valve that dumps the air back into the intake.

Default Finally confirmed ship date

Well, I was beginning to think my kit would never be sent. It is supposed to ship on the 29th of this month. I am setting up install around the 5th of August. From there I will be getting my ECU flashed, larger injectors, different pistons and rods running at 8.5:1 compression then trying boost at around 18 psi if possible. Also I will downgrade my NOS fron a 75 shot to a 35 shot.

So is that saying that the supercharger won't run all the time??? I am wondering about this cause it would save a lot of gas, especially on the interstate. Is it possible to have the instant power of a SC and not have it kill gas mileage in a constant cruise on the interstate with this bypass valve???

It runs all the time as it is belt driven; the higher your RPMs, the faster it will spin. Full boost won't be achieved until redline. A blow-off valve is to release presure that is still being blown in when you let up on the throttle.

If you don't want the s/c running for "daily driver" duty or highway trips, just take off the belt and put it back on for the weekends or whatever.

If anyone considers getting a SC and using it "on weekends", please come by my house so that I can promptly kill you.

LOL. Guess I misunderstood what a BOV was then. I thought it saved gas on constant cruises like on the interstate, but now you say it doesn't. Oh well, if you want to go fast, guess you have to pay for it. If it is only used when you get off the throttle, then the BOV might not be used very much.

lol That is why I enjoy coming here [deep belly laugh]

Hey Paulo where are you getting the 35HP Jets?

I called 3 places today even called ZEX (Barf) they were of NO HELP and no one made those jets. Zex really needs to work on their tech support and customer relations man.

I sold my bottle and pressure guage so it's decided **no N20 for me.** Sold the heater, the bottle the opener it's done!

Boost with the Plenum Headers and true dual with ET Streets will have to do for now.

39 bucks to fill the bottle was getting old anyway. I will get my 4 tenths from a 2800-3000 TC for hopefully 500 bucks.

Those pistons and rods alone you are quoting are 2200.00 plus shipping (1100 each per set) you must be dropping some bank.

Long Tubes and Cams are available too if you have infinite money but you will probably have to make your own 35HP jets and activate the WOT switch in 2nd.

You might want to consider dropping some cash on your rear end, drive shaft safety loop, and gears.

Won't he lose some power though by dropping the CR?
