LOL nice yeah I stayed away from the open dumps, little much for my liking. Might do it later down the road and get the electronic cutouts to open/close

It was when I had the Unichip and the boost level was at 9.5 psi. Same boost levels before and after the swap. I believe the majority of the whp increase was because of the bigger test pipes.

That doesn't really make sense. If the exhaust flowed that much better, you would see an increase in boost pressure. The unichip just works on a gain adjustment, don't think you can dial in at '9.5 psi'. What did your AFRs look like? With a free'er flowing exhaust, your AFRs would lean out a bit without a retune

I guess what you're saying makes sense but I'm sure the 9.5psi was the same before and after the exhaust/test pipes change so it may have been a more aggressive tune which enabled the higher whp. It was a couple years ago so I really don't remember the specifics but I do remember the whp numbers that I stated to be correct

By having more flow from the bigger testpipes/exhaust, would that give a tuner more room for a more aggressive tune (i.e. A/F 12+) because of the increased flow

I don't pretend to know tunning. My guess would be you could possibly run a bit more timing and due to AFRs leaning out with a free'er flowing exhaust, you could add more fuel back in (more air and fuel = more power)
