If you are not doing the work yourself. Then expect to pay around $12,000 for a turbo kit for installation/fuel/tuning. This is on the stock block and no guarantee that the block with hold.

I plan on doing this myself with a not so aggressive tune so I won't have to worry about block reconstruction etc

Hrs handle power better than the de's. But the stillen kit and time he'll get it down. And then he still has room to do exhaust.
I think the stillen runs 7gs complete...and hopefully if his brother can swap a turbo, he could help him put on a sc kit.

I can have 560 too but why if i built it to run circuit. Purpose built. That's true though. I installed my turbo and still ended up costing about 10 grand for the kit wit tune and clutch/flywheel, gauges and gauge pod.

to do it right and one time only..... spend the money, dont cheap out. you will spend more money in the long run replacing shiiite than if you did it right

it cost brian o conner 10g for his eclipse setup...lol

Either way you have to set a budget op and a goal and stick to it

So after looking around for awhile I decided I might just be better off with a centrifugal super charger. I looked a couple of them and decided on the vortech v2 charger-http://www.andysautosport.com/nissan/2003_2008_350z/performance/supercharger_kits/vortech/vort00000326.html

Was wondering what you guys thought of this

Default Turbocharger NOOB questions.

I'm planning on getting a 04-06(with low miles) soon and have been researching on adding a turbo/super to a 350z. I have done bolt on's (catback, header, ect) ;so I only have VERY little knowledge on working with cars and basically no knowledge on engines. I have a few questions such as~

Should I add the turbo before any other bolt on's?
What else would i have to mod/change/add to prep for the turbo and after it is installed?( Again, no knowledge on any of this so every little detail helps.)

I am a cheapo and was wondering if i could go this route ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/03-06-350Z-BOLT-ON-60-1-TURBONETICS-COMPLETE-TURBO-TURBOCHARGER-KIT-VQ35-/291120927716?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3A350Z&hash=item43c828d3e4&vxp=mtr ); I understand if I could/do i would probably have to replace some parts in the kit and find a way to reflash??

I have been TRYING to do my own research but can't seem to find much info on my noob questions. New to turbo~ Hope I put this is the correct category( Seemed to fit in multiple ones) . I have read multiple stickies before posting this which did help me a lot with my research . I have searched this site but can not seem to find what I am asking(probably because they are stupid questions). I apologize in advance for posting something that has been asked a billion times already.Thank You .

U can spray ur engine and it'll handle it but who knows for how long. That's a cheap way to get 400ft/lbs of tourque. Another way requires either a deep pocket and some knowledge on the troubleshooting so u can fix problems as they arise (deep pocket of more then 10k to spare) or deeper pockets to ensure everything is done right. And I daily mine cause its built and I'm ready to accept the consequences but so far the 5,000 miles I put on it, I changed my oil 3 times already not including what the shop did for break in. It would help to have a daily incase anything goes wrong.
