As soon as you take one of the belts off...the supercharger isn't spinning anymore or I'd be making boost.by taking off the front cog belt, the supercharger isn't being driven at all...it's only connection to being driven is via that front cog belt

Awesome...glad it's holding up. I'd be pissed if I were you. It's messed up that they didn't get the tensioning right when they installed it. 1k on belts!? dang...that sucks man. At least those days are over. Now get it back down to Sharif and get a tune on the car that'll actually let you use that boost!!!

I am kinda pissed but no need to waste energy on that.. and 1k in belts yea.. maybe more.. i have blown threw over 20 belts and they cost 40-60 each.. you do the math....

Im ordering some heavy duty.. JASON tiger belts as we speak.. and should be the last belt order i ever make..

Ordered the JASON TIGER belts.. and btw i was off ( i have spent over 2k in belts ) I got 3 880-8mgt30 belts and 3 560-8mgt30 belts totalled at $350.00 expensive right.. well thats almost wholesale .. Over the years i have gotten around ordering from NAPA and ATI because they tag on surcharges etc.. I cut out the middle man and get straight from the manufacterer now and save a bit.. I will post pics of the TIGER belts when i recieve them.. I had only 3 tiger belts before and they broke due to the ****ed up pulley tension.. Now that things are perfect.. I expect nothing but good things = no more belts needed..

Today i have totalled at least 20 wot runs to try and break my current belts, just for a test.. But they look good as new ( the gates gt2 ) I may be getting a new tune/ dyno this weekend.... Getting rid of the utec....

UPDATE!! Just received 10 new JASON TIGER Belts... The TIGER BELTS are wrapped in white string(look alot thicker/better than gates.. Gates belts are right next to them..
BTW.. Thats over $600 in belts..

The long 880 Gates has a regular JASON belt inside which is why the inner belt looks different

These should last me a few years now that i got the damn sc tensioner aligned right and tightened perfect!!

I'm willing to split the price of a dyno run if the belts continue to hold up... for the ATI guys this might be our guide for ultimate performance..

While scrolling quickly, those pics of the belts looked like belted 5.56 to my drunk ***

I wish you well, my friend. hopefully the new belts hold.

Well im not sure if the belt tightening is the only key to keeping the belts in tact, because i have also done an alignment modification.. Simple yet may be a great factor..

I will be dynoing very soon, just need some days off work... I work 7days a week....
