Greddy Replacement Hardware
Before I contact Greddy Tech Support and wait 2 weeks for them to respond I thought I'd check with the pros first.
I bought a used Greddy TT kit, I've gone over the parts list, everything seems to be there however I'd like to purchase replacement hardware anyways to be on the safe side for the installation.
Is it possible to purchase just the hardware for Installation?
Also I need relocation brackets for the Coolant, and Washer Tank as well as Air Filter Brackets.
Oh and the nissan check valve.
Thanks.

build new oil lines while you are at it. the greddy hardware is nothing impressive either, its shiny and stainless but its soft and i would just order what you need from mcmaster in the better grades.

I've been thinking about just getting the AAM Lines and Spacer.
Also as an FYI for anyone, I've contacted Greddy about missing parts/hardware, they advised to contact an Authorized Dealer and they can get the parts.

In all reality, you could save $100 - 150 im sure by piecing it yourself. The extra you pay is for something that is tested and true and already fits. You save a LOT of time not having to assemble hoses.
Aside from that, the CJM kit uses teflon hose with crimped ends, something that you CANNOT do yourself without special equipment. You will have to do the regular old twist together rubber stuff that makes your entire car smell like fuel, do a search and you will find many members complaining of how their car smells like gasoline all the time once it has 20 feet of stainless braided rubber lines hanging from it.
But if you do want to build the kit yourself, you can seperately purchase the return correction kit from us that will allow you to use your entire fuel tank. Without it, your venturi siphon is dead and you can only use the passenger side of the tank and your pump will starve when your gas gauge reads a little under half tank.
You will spend 300 or so on rails. around $140 on a regulator. About $75 on the return correction. Probably around $200 in hoses and fittings, if not $250. So you are at over 700 already right there, probably closer to 750. You will spend an entire day building the hoses? I dont know what your time is worth... but for most people a day at work is worth more than saving 100 - 150 on hoses and goign to work the next day with a car that wrecks of gasoline and a few bloody fingers from assemblying the stainless lines. You are not the first person to start a thread contending with the idea of a preassembled fuel system. The reality is, for most cars, there are a few options for assembled packages that you will find on FAR more vehicles than DIY systems for the reasons I mentioned and more. Ya you can save yourself some money, but dont be delusional on how much you will really save once you are done.
Of course, we have markup. On top of that, the dealers have markup. Otherwise its not worth our time or their time. If your time is worth less than the money saved, be my guest! Many people have done DIY systems and in the end I at least get to rape you on the return correction kit.
