Having problems with cooling system
Okay so this is what happened. My car has been running pretty hot lately. its not only when i boost it but also when i just run the car under normal operating conditions for a while. so yesterday i decided to purge my coolant system. i followed the proper procedures but i noticed that nothing was coming out of the bleeder valve. i went to feel if it was just air coming out but i couldnt really feel anything coming out. i let if run for a while i sat in the car while i was doing this. then i just see coolant shoot up out of the overflow tank. turn the car off immediately. get up front the overflow tank is completely filled. im assuming that this is just a hell of a lot of air in the coolant system but was looking for second opinions.

I know ill get flammed but this is how I did when I changed to a koyo radiator. I filled the radiator with coolant/water and then open the air bubble valve to let the air bubbles out until there was no more visible bubble (might have to do this for about 10-15mins). Then I would leave it slightly open and drive around the block at different rpms and just let the coolant spill out from the open air bubble valve. Once u get back home pop the hood and close the air bubble valve completely and basically u should be air bubble free. U will have to fill up some water in your coolant tank but that is normal.
