Default Smoke at start-up???

Well I just got my car back today. I noticed that at start-up, white smoke coming out from the exhaust. It's doesn't stay long, maybe like 30 seconds then disappear. It doesn't happened all the time. It's like hit or miss. My car is an 03 with complete built long block with cams+sleeved, utec, RC 750cc, CJm stage 2 FRS, open dump, test pipes, 2.5 exhaust. Just finished the 1,500 miles break-in and now tuned with 2 maps. First map with 14psi pump gas and another at 20-21 psi with meth. So wondering is it normal or something is wrong? Thanks in advance.

It smells more like gasoline than coolant.

My '03 is doing this exact same thing! Please, if you find something out let me know. I just got my car two days ago and didn't realize this was happening when I bought it because it's been raining until today...

This happens everytime the car has been sitting still for more than a few minutes. It billows a cloud of white smoke that smells like gasoline (just as he mentioned above)

White smoke can mean a few things. Oil, Coolant, I have even been told excess fuel in your cylinder at start-up can cause it. I can guess on a few things it might be, but your best bet is to take it back to the build and have them do a "once-over" just to be safe.

If i had to guess i would say it is fuel due to the fact that you are running 750cc injectors. When starting the car(when cold) the car is in open loop so all of the fuel trims are being controlled by the utec.
