Forged Z - 475WHP at 7.5PSI on 91 Octane
How's the tranny temp? I'd highly suggest a gauge on the hose going to the tranny cooler. A couple pulls and mine's pushing 240 degrees F and I have to cruise in 4th till it comes back down. This is with a high stall (4500 rpm) converter from GTM. I have a more efficient one (3200 rpm) sitting in a box awaiting install.

HMMM...I don't know about the tranny temp. I have a tranny cooler from SGP, so will that eliminate that problem?
As far as the shifting, this is the first auto Z with the Pro-EFI, so we are still seeing how it does. It seems to be learning the shifts and adjusting for the quick rev-up though. The 1-2 shift is pretty seamless now and the other shifts have improved. I have still only driven the car a few days, so we'll see. According to Pro-EFI, the stock ECU controls the shifting and will therefore adjust for the timing.

I think he is talking about the ignition timing of the engine, not the timing of the shifts. The ProEFI can't know when the computer is going to shift to pull ignition timing, but the stock computer also cuts throttle, so there is still significant torque reduction. You also have a built trans, so it doesn't need as much torque reduction to keep it alive. Also no torque reduction = fastest possible acceleration.

E-manage piggy backs the signals.... it doesn't replace them all together. The ProEFI and Haltech do.

Of all my temp gauges (air, coolant, oil, trans), the tranny temp always reads the highest after running for awhile. These are to fix the rear. The fronts have adjustable upper camber plates, so you don't need anything to fix the front. Tyler should be able to get the alignment pretty straight on the lift, but ask Han about the Porsche place in Tempe that specializes in lowered cars; just to get it juuuuuussssttt right.

There must be a CAN signal that's transmitted between the ECM (actually the gauge cluster I believe) and the TCM that could be intercepted...
