Default Bell Housing Bolts, anyone know the size i need?

Hey guys, trying to get a motor up on an engine stand, but I dont have the proper bolts that attach the bell housing to the motor.

Anyone know what size and pitch I need?

Thank you!!

take the bolts that bolt the tranny to the motor to a bolt supply store and they should be able to match them up on the spot. Bolt supply stores are life savers

if your engine stand is like most the stock bolts wont be long enough you can use the bolts from the fake water pump out of the front of the motor. they are long enough and right thread pitch.

I'd suggest getting some from homedepot/hardware store. Dont want to bend the bolts from the engine.

I had my DE on the stand and when I finished working on it, and loaded it with accessories I saw it drooping a bit. After I lifted the motor I noticed the bolts were bent.

Did you only use two bolts??? I used four and had all accessories on the motor plus turbos and manifolds and had no bent bolts to speak of.

All four. I was using Home depot bolts. Grade 8 thought. I had it on the stand for a little while. from when it was just the block, all the way up to the heads. I leaned on it a lot, torquing etc... maybe it was just me.
