FYI, you didn't mention my name as someone that knew what you were talking about and I'm NOT a veteran that knows you, therefore, your sarcasm was lost on me. In all honesty, though, there are LOTS of threads where people call you out. Maybe you should consider that not everyone will take you as lightly as you take yourself. Once again, I don't really care, just sharing.
My numbers still make sense and were intentional. Reading doesn't give me a headache. Taking my company from $425,000/yr to $1.8 MM/yr and all the employee and customer management does that. I did this through being really bad at math and reading.

I say this to your bs.. Been to Iraq, shot at/mortared and back, trained over 2,000 Soldiers literally.. I did this through bad math and reading...

LOLZ at the chaos of doug's RSX thread spilling over into this one!
You unsubscribed too quickly, I just found about the CPU architecture for this unit!
So I guessed wrong. It's a powerPC chip - the slowest clocked one I have ever heard of. But that increases reliability and it may be plenty fast enough for the car - so don't take that as a slam. Just to give you an idea Macs started out with PowerPCs in the several hundred Mhz range and I think they go as high as 2.5 Ghz now...

The MPC555 is a high-speed 32-bit Central Processing Unit that contains a floating point unit designed to accelerate the advanced algorithms necessary to support complex applications. High-performance data manipulation capabilities and a large on-chip FLASH memory with powerful peripheral subsystems allow for the flexibility to change or upgrade your product late in the production cycle.
The MPC555's 32-bit Core—compliant with the PowerPC instruction set architecture—supports a wide range of on-board peripherals and offers excellent functionality and performance. Its high level of flexibility is combined with low development costs and quick time to market cycles. In addition, code compatibility and scalability among the MPC500 Family members eases the migration process and offers software reuse between family members.
The combination of the features below make the MPC555 well suited for automotive applications such as engine and transmission control as well as robotics and avionics control.

Actually, I think this thread started going to sh*t when Gurgen posted in page 4.

I never said or insinuated in that post that I wanted the thread shut down. Therefore, you're either being a pompous ***, or reading comprehension owns you.
Unfortunately, you fulfill the stereotype of the arrogant physician all too well.
