Started running the downpipe for the turbo setup yesterday, as you can see I need another set of V-band flanges to complete it. I dont really need it but if I want easy removal like I do I am putting another v-band right at the bend. Boy is it a tight fit past the steering rack!

Awesome looking - I love the turbo up front. Just realized you are in Cinci - you aren't far (~1 hour). If you need anything let me know. Looking forward to seeing the completed thing, hopefully in person

Incredible build! Looking at some pics through the thread and though I ask you something. Your welder, is he purging the tubing from the inside with argon while welding? This is very important because if he didn't the inside of the pipe will look like there is "crums" glued to it. These metal crums (over time) can fall off and fly through your turbo and damage the turbine. Just something to keep in mind. Whenever I tig weld tubing I use a second argon bottle (tape both ends of pipe shut) and regulator to push any oxygen out from the inside of the pipe. This makes the inside very smooth.
Keep up the great work, and tell your welder to put some gloves on. I have seen guys with 3rd degree burns from the intense UV.

Yeah we have not been doing back purging, but I am going to run a hone bit through everything real well before I run it since everything before the turbo is pretty , we just havent got a second argon bottle yet, which is why we stopped going over the short sections welds on the headers. This has been an issue thats been brought up, were going to take care of it. Thanks for the heads up/warning

There have been a few times we've melted casing due to a lack of a heat shield of some sort.
