Yeah its a chrome paint but its expensive and I am not quite sure it will give me the effect I have pictured in my head. Yeah I had to put the disclaimer up so the people who just look at the thread for the pictures didnt start a flame war lol. The paint is way down at the bottom of my list of things to do lol.

Right now I need help deciding on what turbo kit to go with as I am stuck. I want to make some high numbers but I am not trying to spend alot of money on a kit that I know will have to be modified in some way to fit in my engine bay, any suggestions guys? I want something simple and I dont want to go standalone if I can avoid it.

SO you're thinking the "ghost chrome" effect?

It'd look sick as hell if you could pull it off... But that will end up being extremely expensive.

Yeah I know depends on how much more money I am willing to spend and how much patience I have left because it will be the last thing done to the car before I label it "complete".

man if that chrome is done right, man that is going to be sick. I would say you may get a magazine cover or something for your build.

Maybe try Powerlab provided your engine bay has enough room. I would think a single might fit easier than a twin but without having a good look at the engine bay (especially without the motor in place), that is going to be a tough call.
Probably best to wait until you have more accomplished in terms of motor install.

The Powerlab kit comes in a variety of forms (Full Kit or Tuner Kit) as well as with a variety of turbo sizes depending on your power goals. So based on this flexibility it may be a good choice. I'm sure everyone has there .02 but it is truly going to be something you decide based on what space you have left.

Huge props. I would get sponsors for the expensive stuff, including the paint and turbo kit. I don't think you should have to compromise given how much you've put into this already. If I were a sponsor, I would love to put my name to your skills. Just a thought...

Yeah the two biggest problems I have with getting sponsors is Ill have to clutter my car with stickers and such and I dont want my car to be a moving billboard. The other thing is I get a sense of accomplishment knowing that I worked hard building the car and funding it. On the other hand it wouldnt be a bad idea cause I could eventually take the stickers off over time. I dont even know where I would start to pursue a sponsor....

I agree. The three options I am considering are HKS, Greddy or Powerlab. My biggest thing is I want to make as much power as I can without going standalone. I want the car to be scary fast but practical. I want it to be fast but not so much to where I cant put the power to the pavement and just spin out everywhere on street tires. I want to be able to enjoy the car.
