I want to be able to enjoy the car.
Problem is the HKS kit does not come with an intercooler or any intercooler piping. So you would have to fabricate all of your piping yourself.
As far as the Greddy, I am not sure if the engine bay will accommodate the wastegate in stock location. Maybe consider the W/G relocators.
Turbonetics might cross up with the steering column. Lots of issues. Lets just get the car up and running first and worry about that later..why don't we.

On the other hand it wouldnt be a bad idea cause I could eventually take the stickers off over time. I dont even know where I would start to pursue a sponsor....
You contact the manufacturers and refer them to this link that shows your build. You do not need to be done to get sponsors. You just need to sell yourself and your project. So if you want a JWT TT kit, contact Jim Wolf. If that fails, move on to your 2nd choice and so on. It just takes a little legwork, a few e-mails and some persistence. Generally it involves making a commitment to show the car at a certain number of spots over a certain period of time. You can expect a discount on the kit and additional "rebates" for each media event you attend. If I were you, I would probably first contact magazines that might want to publish your efforts. I think you could easily make the cover of several. They could arrange sponsors for you. The downside is that they would probably ask you not to publish your work in a public forum, which would suck for us. :P

Good luck. With your skills and determination, I'm sure you'll succeed regardless, but if someone is willing to recognize your efforts and you can help each other out, why not?

If OP had a nice job offer he would be willing to relocate, OP hates winter. Or performance factory could be the first sponsor

My perfect color if money permits would be this as a base coat:

With a translucent Black over the top, but it depends on how much I end up spending on the car. It will be some sort of black tho.

Haha! No, I realized that it could be implied that I meant you were, but in reality, I meant that the only time I'll get to really get into the car(s) will be when I'm a crusty ole retired garage hermit. . .like my dad. He's is a DIYer but lives 1500 miles away, so I can't use his garage/lift/tools etc. He's totally decked out his C6 vette, and I'm the slow poke with a vortech tuner kit sitting in my garage in boxes. D'oh! (And no, I won't ever catch up in the HP race. . .he just tuned out 569whp/541wtq.) But, that's beside the point and detracts from this freakin' awesome thread.

N E wais. . .MORE UPDATES!

Finally! Nismoparts.com got my S15 core support and bumper reinforcement in, should have the parts by the middle of next week. Once they are installed, and the motor gets mounted, I can take the motor back out and then I can take the car to have it sand blasted which will be personally done by me! Now I just need a damn transmission!
