Turbo Water Lines?
So i talked to the rebuilders of my turbo and they said, the reason my turbo was done was because oil got cooked up in there due to no water lines running and cooling it down. I didnt have water lines hooked up and they said i had a water cooled turbo mid section. I'm talkin about the TN turbo btw.
Now does anyone have instructions on how to connect the water lines and where the lines go. I think i saw one guy with an adapter in his upper hose but not sure what it was for.
Pics would help greatly. Thanx alot in advance.

just took some picks for you. The lines that come with the kit connect to the back of the engine on the fire wall but they are hard to get to so I have shorter lines running to the front First pic you can see it the second pic it is under the intake charge pipe real easy to install and I think it keeps it cooler because it is closer to the turbo.

and also, i gotta buy a kit for this? how mcuh does it cost? Im gonna google it.
I believe so it the hose right in front of your motor you can't mis it and the other one is in front on the right side it curves around you can only see about 6'' of it couldn't really get a got shot of it because of that charge pipe. Hope I could help.

The turbo should be fine without the water lines, but I've found that having sometihng like a turbo blanket on it tends to make the seals have a shorter life span.
I ran my water lines to the coolant lines behind the engine on either side. This is where companies like APS that sell water cooled kits do it, and it just looks cleaner. If you look in the shop builds section for the "testing the waters" thread, it should give you an idea of where I T'd them in.
Turbonetics sells water line kits that come with the proper stainless steel braided lines with banjo fittings and T's. Contact a turbonetics dealer and they should be able to order you a set.
