Another reason to avoid TN
I've had 2 uppipes break in the same spot. Finally I just welded a spare one shut with no bracket and gusseted the wastegate pipe. I don't expect any more problems there

2. So you dont have that bracket there? I was thinkin about doing that but wasnt sure if it was the best idea. If it cracks again, im deff removing that ****.

2. I was pretty sure that bracket didn't support any weight, so I just deleted it and had it welded shut and then ground down smooth inside
Do make sure you retain the bracket below the uppipe/turbo inlet flange that bolts to the compressor though, that one supports alot of weight.
I did that on my car too when I had the kit. I had zero issues with it cracking, but it was a pain in the *** when installing the turbo so I got rid of it.

one thing im wondering is why turbonetics only welds one side of things. If they did it like this, it woulda been much stronger. You can compare the 2 in this pic
