Default Driving 440cc injectors w/out a tune

1) Has anyone ever tried driving w/ 440cc injectors without a tune? I'm installing a vortech and I was going to drive it to a tuner, but will it run too rich for me to get a decent drive out of it with those injectors?...It'll be a 60 mile drive...

2) Can I use the stock OEM injector connectors with the RC 440cc's, or do i have to buy the pigtails?

3)And while we're at it, I'm installing a used kit, and I noticed some of the old oil coming out of the oil drain hose of the blower...is there any way to flush out/clean the blower? Is there anything else I should do to the kit to clean it out or whatever before I install it?

1. i have driven with 600cc injectors on the stock ecu when my UTEC burned up. just makes starting a lil more difficult and you'll run way rich if you get on the gas too hard. light pedal action and you'll be fine with those smallish 440s

2. you need pigtails and clips

3. fresh oil rinse would be sufficient

I wouldn't do it on my motor.

You will run excessively rich and possibly wash the cylinder walls with fuel and scar them, causing possible loss of compression, and/or burning oil.

But it will "run" I guess.

If you have a AFPR you can turn down the base pressure until you get the other fuel management in order, but running it boosted and running rich 60 miles will be better than running lean. I would just turn down the pressure if there are starting issues.
