Default Random Misfire/Rich Bank Codes Greddy TT

*Sorry this turned out longer than I planned...

Had a weird issue today while doing some logging and tuning on the car.

Greddy TT was just installed recently by myself/tech. UTEC with Zeitronix logging.

Car was running great, pulling great no issues.

Then on one of our last runs, I was getting on a highway from an onramp. 3rd gear, just speeding up, just getting into boost 3-4K RPM. The car all of a sudden runs like a bag of ****, no power response, nothing above 4K, thought my clutch was slipping. SES starts flashing so I pull over and shut the car off, we pulled the codes which we're getting random misfire, and rich bank codes.

Strange, the only thing we did was pull some fuel from the fuel map. Deciding on what to do, we start the car again, idles really rough, lots of smoke coming out the back. Im thinking the worst, but really I wasn't even boosting that much or on the gas hard.

Idle cleans up, car feels fine again, slowly pull onto the highway from the shoulder, car seems fine, staying out of boost. So we get off the highway, check the car out, no leaks or anything visual car still sounds and idles fine, no more smoke, no codes.

So Im at a loss what happened, unfortunately we weren't logging when it happened. I dont think it was a limp mode because apparently thats limited to 2500RPM? I was able to get above that.

Get back home, no more issues. We revert back the tune with the little bit of fuel we pulled to be safe. Car runs fine.

Can't figure it out, maybe MAF?? Vacuum issues?

Any thoughts?

I was told those codes are common. I get them all the time, but I've never lost power as you described.

What code reader are you use, just out of curiousity.

Actron pocket scan.

I just clear the codes and they usually don't pop up again for awhile.

I have to double check again, but it was saying 'random misfire' which is aparrently the code where the car says, 'i am not sure exactly what is going wrong so I will throw one anyways' according to me guy with his uber-scantool.

How do you solve MAF overvoltage?

This has me thinking...maybe it's not from the cat/no cat then?

EDIT: that question was for the OP, oops

What were your AFRs? It's amazing how a point or two in the wrong direction affects the car's behavior. You may want to examine injector seating and the spark plugs. Dual widebands FTW. Bank 1 is the passenger side. You may have a plug not firing in cylinders 1, 3, or 5. That would send all that unburnt fuel and the car would sound crappy. Or that coil could be bad. Look for a fouled plug on bank 1.

We had 10.8-11.1 O2 values before this happenned. We were trying to lean it out a bit actually.

Something I never did was gap the plugs, they are stock .044 right now, I may try .035 if I continue to experience the issue.

We aer thinking the boost was blowing out the spark possibly.
