Forged Performance F T W!
I know it's been said dozens, if not hundreds of times already BUT it’s appropriate to say it again, Forged Performance ROCKS!
As many of you know, I hurt my motor (spun #2 rod bearing from an over rev) at the last Redline Time Attack... The car was brought back to Forged Performance and they immediately went to work and manage what I believed was the impossible – they had my motor pulled, rebuilt, installed, and ready for the this past weekends Time Attack!
A true testament to the Forged Performance short block, the car was first fired off on Thursday afternoon, broken in on the dyno and then driven from GA to Summit Point race track in West Virginia for some more break in miles...
More details to follow, but the car performed Great! Absolutely zero issues and we didn't even need to turn up the wick to secure first place in the Modified RWD class...
HUGE THANKS to Forged Performance and my suspension guru/driver Robert Fuller of Robispec!

GReat news!....
I like how the engine was basically just broken in on the dyno.... i know its a shops preference on they do it but this should leave out no more questions regarding "dyno breakin" method.
Congrats against!

Agree....Robi...the driver did not baby the car like I felt he would for a brand new motor with zero street time......he drove it to win and it held together.

Pics are on the way - most of the folks are still travelling home and I'm working to support this addictive hobby...
Thanks for the congrats, it wasn't much fun eating crow for the last three weeks
but we're back on track... The G is already under the knife at the fab shop - going on a slim fast diet and will be very skinny by the next event
