Default Any results from 3in downpipes to APS 3.5

Just wondering if its worth purchasing the APS 3.5in dp's? Are there any benifits going to a 3.5dp to a dual 3in APS exhaust? Any sound difference? Thanx!

When I had the 2.5 APS test pipes going to my 2" Injen exhaust I put down 380ish whp. When I changed over to the APS 3.5 test pipes and the greddy evott( I expanded the bottleneck to 3") I put down 425 whp. The tune was slightly more agressive on the 425 whp, but everything else was the same. Hopefully that will give you some idea...I love the way it sounds with the greddy evott
exhaust

They wont fit your Greddy turbos without major modification to the downpipes. Not worth it at all. You wont see any power difference over 3 inch downpipes.

Do you mean you won't see any difference between a 3" and a 3.5"?

Not on these tiny turbos. If it was a larger framed turbo, then yes . But on these sized turbos you will be pressed to notice any real difference.

So whats the bottleneck? The turbos? Exhaust? So going from 3in to 3.5 into a APS dual 3in, wont make a difference?

The turbos can only flow so much. A 3inch downpipes off these turbos is plenty big. The 3.5 APS downpipes wont work on the Greddy turbos anyways, so no point in thinking about it.

More flow ususally means more power, but when these turbos are already so small, 3 inch downpipes is more then sufficiant. If you could do back to back dynos of 3.5 vs 3 on greddy turbos I would put money on there being hardly a difference. Expecially a difference big enough to outweight the cost in $500 downpipes.

I have 3.5" APS with greddy evoTT 3" (or 2.75, should I say). I don't think there's any benefits to this at 500-550whp.
