You must have kept the switch open too long. Once it throws a code you have to clear the code before the CC will start working again.
When I was messing around with this I noticed that sometimes I could drive hours and not throw a code but somtimes it won't take much at all.

Above is the layout of what the pins look like when you disconnect the ECU from the harness. So if you are looking for some kind of special fuse box that resembles this you won't find it. Just go under the passenger side dash and locate the ECU, disconnect it and track down the appropriate pin and identify the wire leading out...install a switch and connect to the wire leading to that pin. Now you can easily turn on/off the ability for the computer to read the signal being transmitted when applying the brakes.

so you got your brake lights to work but yet ur car wont bog when pressing the brakes and gas at the same time? this sounds like something i want to try since the base model didnt bring traction control anyways.
The thing is you still keep traction control with the 101 switch, not so much by pulling the grey wire in the engine bay. Its all in what liability your willing to assume. If you wreck and hurt or kill some one and they find that that with ABS you would have stopp in enough time to prevent an accident you will be racked over the coals. At least you still have abs, the only feature seamingly killed with the 101 mod is the panick break feature, eventualy CC if you drive alot with it on.

Brake boosting is it BCM specific function or is it handled by the ECU?
Reason I ask is it something that can be manipulated when you flash your ECU
to remove limiters and what not?

It is controlled by you. You hold the brakes down to stop you acceleration while on the throttle building boost.
The computer will stop fuel delivery that's why i ask is it something that can be manipulated with a ECU flash
