That's good to hear. How much WHP? I assume over 600, since that would make it relevant to this discussion.
What piggyback where you using before? If it "jerked" back over, then I assume you were running a UTEC or Emanage or something along those lines.

No doubt, he wasn't running something like the Fcon Vpro or Haltech if he had a 'jerking' when the ems took over.

My money is still on the Haltech and Vpro vs a manipulated stock ECU

I will never understand why people will come on here and try to re-hash issues that have been resolved by the community for years!!! There is a reason that alot of z's and g's you see on here use the same stuff, its because it works!!!! People have gone through trial and error to come to the conclusions they have come to.

- Sleeves ARE a waste of money for a street car
- Haltech, Pro EFI, and the F-CON ARE the best ems options available
- L19 headstuds will hold gobs of power and you don't need 1/2" studs (see injected's drag car)
- You DON'T need 3" down pipes to make good power (i recently proved this)

Just read on here and you will see there are reasons that people do the things they do.

That sounds like you've got some immediate plans to implement this build. I'd recommend you find a tuner BEFORE you choose the EMS. Talk to a tuner you trust and plan to use about the options and what he is comfortable tuning and comfortable will serve your specific needs. If your tuner is good with high HP VQ's and uses any of the proven EMS' for that type of build, you really can't go wrong. To re-iterate what many of us have stated, the main 3 to consider are Haltech, FCon, and Pro-EFI. Each has it's specific uses, but all 3 are safe with a good tune and safe use ongoing.
