Good news for me today guys..
Got my valve body and they did everything Mark told me they did. ALL the solenoids look BRAND NEW even though only one or two of them were bad. They also replaced some wiring with brand new stuff. I'm happy, and hopefully will get it into he car by the end of this week. Will post another update. then.
Mark told me the thing was not holding pressure at all, this is the reason for the delay. I suspect, along with him, that during shipping solenoids were damaged. If any of you with the delay problem can look at your VB, look at the solenoids they may be damaged. When he shipped it back today it was covered with cardboard to prevent it happening again.

Hurry up and install it and let us know if it helped. I suspected mine was a solenoid issue, but since it was just between 3-4 shift, I just dealt with it.
I wonder if Mark would take mine back and fix it although its been 3 years(only 15k miles though). Probably not

Well, apparently Mark lied to 1 of us if not both. I also reported the shift delays and he said he had never heard of it before and nobody else has that issue. I think he also overstated the number of VQ's with his transmission. He may have counted several like CoachK, who only has 1 piece, but that still may not account for the 40-50 cars he boasted. Certainly you or I reported the shift delays before the other one, so the second one was necessarily lied to when he said he hadn't heard it before.
I am very encouraged about the future for my car, by 2 things:
1. Canadian got his transmission fixed pretty quickly and it looks to be good. I will hold the celebration until he confirms that the issue is resolved.
2. It turns out that the issue with WOT on my car is NOT from the stock ECU. Tony at UMS has identified the culprit; my Pro-EFI. He is going to see if it is tuning or a problem with the box or wiring or whatever.
The other issues, though, seem to be what Canadian and Iamdigital and CoachK, etc all have.
