Default Better than stock throw-out bearing?

Is their a better quality (supplier) than the stock Nissan throw-out bearing for 350Z manual transmission?

Note: This part is one of the less expensive parts when replacing the clutch, pressure plate, pilot bearing, & throw-out bearing.

Noise is the last thing that would sway me from stock throw-out bearing. Do you have any suggested suppliers?

I go through alot of throwout bearings. They seldom last more then 3000mi for me. But that includes road racing. I need one right now as a matter of fact.

I seam to recall that they do! Let me know how long it lasts (assuming your Z has a Nismo throw-out bearing installed).

You may be thinking of the pilot shaft bearing.

Nismo offers a roller style pilot bearing, not a throw-out bearing though.

Thanks for the infor... Know of any clutch replacement using a Nismo pilot bearing as to how it feels (i.e. smoother engaugement/disengaugement, last longer)?

I've actually heard people recommend the stock one over the Nismo one due to the fact the stock one is stronger, or at least they say.

I think this comes from the fact it is easier to mess up the Nismo one while installing the transmission than the stock one though.

I doubt you'd ever notice the difference.

Not really. Personally, I doubt that there is any measurable difference between the two.

the fact that the throw out bearing makes noise does not effect its performance... and to disassemble the clutch system just to change out the noisy bearing every 3,000 miles is simply idiotic.
