NE1 removed PCV on passenger side valve cover?
The PCV valve is a flow bottleneck under boost and I'm looking to remove it to allow better crankcase ventilation. Has anyone attempted this? If so, can you point out a link for the correct part for replacement of the PCV valve with just an open nipple that will thread into the valve cover on the passenger side?
Thanks in advance. For those wondering, I plan to continue to use a PCV valve in conjunction with the plenum inlet. During boost, I have my piping set up to suck vapors out to the driver's side turbo intake.

Well I'm still data logging - have just recently hooked up a MAP sensor to driver's side crankcase vent. I have noticed that oil is coming out of the driver's side open breather (soaking the little filter). It should only be going in the way I have the plumbing routed. And yes, I am getting a bit of oil out of the turbos (no smoke except at WOT high rpms) with some residue in the IC, so looking to decrease cc presure under boost. Need to increase airflow through cc.

I don't recall the thread size, but I can almost guarantee you won't find anything at Lowes. It is a fine metric thread, but fairly large diameter.....making it a hard size to find......IIRC. I was looking for a fitting for the valve cover so I could convert the nipple end to an "-AN" fitting.

Isn't this how it should be? when in boost, the passenger check valve stops flow & only the drivers side vents with the vacuum from the turbo inlet. Some are venting with just a filter but don't you need that vacuum from the turbo intake?
So a larger check valve would only make sense for the drivers side right?
With catch cans on both sides of course.

if you want to increase the airflow abilities out of the valve cover, take a look at the drivers side, the 5/8 hose barb there only has a small hole on the inside. Open that up a bit before getting carried away w/ looking for a fitting for the PCV valve.
