My Build: The Good, The Bad & The Progress
Hmmm....this is the first I am hearing of this. I am not using this as a fix all, just part of the package. What causes the overheating issue?

(disregard that Nissan designed it, Forged Performance tested it, and it has been implemented numerous times with no reported issues)
Seriously, if you've got some data, anecdotal though it may be, present it for judgment - leave the dramatics to TNT.

Carbonetic Twin Disc 1350kg Carbon Clutch w/ 9lb. Flywheel + NISMO Braided Steel Clutch Hose
Attachment 220656
It held up to the power Karl's car was making 550+whp, so it should be OK for mine.

Turbos are purchased already.
Nismo Thermostat - Check
Pathfinder Cooling Mod - Check
Water/Meth Injection - Check
Jet Hot on Downpipes and Wastegate pipes + Manifolds - Check
Exhaust - 3" APS True Duals - Check (coming soon)
No Cats - Check
Not trying to skimp, just looking at any and all solutions so I don't max out before I hit my goal and have to re-tune after buying more parts.

Is 600whp possible on Dave's dyno out of the standard turbos on the APS kit? I think the highest Ive seen on a standard kit is 603whp on a dynojet. I dont know though and I dont want to try and bring the mood down, just wondering? I dont have any doubts with your motor and 600whp on Dave dyno, the motor is going to be near bullet proof. Let me know when your going down next also. Ill tag along.
your in Gaithersburg MD.......hmmmmm....I wonder if that's why your having issues

Haha sry man I wasnt trying to be a buzz kill. With the motor + meth maybe you'll get it, but at no rate are you pissing 30k away! With your setup I dont see any restrictions so your car is going to be retarded fast regardless haha. Make me want to spend that kinda money most likely. I blame you in advance btw if I do build the car in result of riding in yours.

So I worked a deal with another Mid-A member that is going through a lil part out:

turbokanji is a super nice guy and a great seller to deal with. Do a name search on his threads and check out all his top notch stuff for sale!!!
When I got the brakes in they were in great shape, but a little dirty. I spent several hours cleaning them up so I could decide if I wanted to keep them the factory gold color. There was a slight bit of peeling on the back side of one of the front calipers so I have decided that they will go out for powder coat - candy apple red metallic just like the valve covers is the color I chose. I'm not sure if the seals will hold up to the heat during coating, so I have sourced rebuild kits for both the front and rear calipers that I can order if needed - thanks to Tony@Riverside Infinity. I'm not sure if there is a way to check the seals prior to installation of the calipers. If anyone knows if this is possible please let me know. Pics:

The last pic is of the caliper cleaned up and disassembled for coating and yes I removed the bleeders before sending them.
If you want to look like you work on cars all the time, play with your brakes for a minute, it makes you really dirty and ruins whatever your wearing - thanks to my mother-in-law for the new Christmas jeans and goodbye to my favorite hoodie
