I used to hit the landing in my younger days. It could get pretty crazy down there.

Car is looking good, can't wait for the tune.

Lived out by Chesterfield Mall, Ballwin, Mo to be exact. Spent some quality years there, great people and everyone loves to have a good time.

OT-but I was in Chicago last Wednesday-Friday! Flew into O'Hare as well, tried to meet up with Charles (Phunk) but it just didnt happen. By the time I got done drinking/checking out downtown it wasnt worth me driving to where he was by the time his bar closed. Was gonna call the guys at SP I know they are right by the airport, but I felt like Id be bothering them...I feel retarded for forgetting that Thom is in Chicago too, would have liked to check out his beast.

Its a very busy week this week, I heard from Dave that the ViPEC is now functional and he will be generating a base map early this week. I need to figure out how to get the Z to him in VA, pick up my Lexus from Hill's Garage in Baltimore along with the stock motor that is there, be in Chicago on Thurs and Fri and make it back to not miss any tuning/dyno time. What a mess .

I dropped my son off at kindergarden this morning to the stunned silence of all the parents and kids gathered outside - the car is shockingly loud . I also realized another small issue today, the wall on the back side of my garage backs up to my dining room in the house. The car has so much reverb that it knocked down some of the decorative plates and vibrated all the glassware to the front of the case . Luckily nothing broke so I won't get in much trouble with the wife.

I am waiting to hear from Dave about an approximate tuning schedule so I can try and figure out all the details for the week. The car continues to be the center of my world right now, but I can see the wife is reaching her tolerence point with me and the Z.

I think I will love it as well, but with the wastegate wide open its like running open dumps all the time - Zero restriction.

Just my open dumps are crazy loud....and we are probably doing the boost controlled cut-outs.....dear lord I can't image how loud that will be lol.

I like the stock muffler'ish now. Cops up here (at least in the suburbs) have really been harpin on noise. So I never get bothered....if they are close enough to hear the open dumps, they aren't close for very long

Yea chicagoz.com has something going on just about every weekend once the summer starts......and I heard SP's open house is going to be End of april (like april 25th)....so if ya are planning a road trip.....

I live near the second largest Harley plant in the US, guys ride here all year round like nuts. It is every bit as loud, or louder, than a Harley with loud pipes. My wife's exact words to me when I came home with the car was "I thought one of your friends bought a Harley and was coming over to show it to you" .

I am leaving to go get my son from school now, gonna park a block away and just walk over to pick him up .

I had a 3 in cut out that was loud.

it will be quieter with wg springs. now its loud but only marginally more than stock@ idle, it screams at wot esp with open dumps. its definetly worth it in my mind and is easy enough to talk over . open dumps are another thing however

Nothing to report right now. Holding pattern as I am going out of town till Saturday. Will hopefully have some progress by then.

I went and got the oil changed at Hill's and had people messing with me again on 695, but no boost = no go.

Right now I am wishing for power and hoping that the resonance I am hearing with the wastegates removed is lessened greatly when they are put back in. I don't mind loud, but the constant humming is a FAIL . The starting issue is tollerable, but still embarrsing, I went to get gas the other day and some guy says "nice car", I'm like "hey, thanks" and then it takes 3 trys of 5 second cranking for the car to start - I looked like a complete loser .

I am hoping to stop by SP in Chicago before I leave town Friday afternoon, but no solid plan right now. Tom, if you read this, shoot me a PM with your cell # and maybe we can meet up there.

No cool pics today, just boring words.
