Default New Haltech dual channel wideband

We just received our first batch of the new Haltech Wideband controllers, capable of controlling dual sensors. Great development went into making these wideband controllers the best on the market, without all of the errors and failures commonly found in competing o2 controllers. It is a small and compact package that is very simple to install with just four wires (power, ground, sensor output and dimmer if needed). This minimizes cluttered, bulky installations so typical with dual Innovates.

This is a standalone wideband controller that can be used with any ems, or just with a gauge. The controller has 0-5v AFR outputs (1 or 2 outputs depending on number of sensors). Also, it works excellent in conjunction with the Haltech Platinum PNP EMS, which has dual wideband inputs and can make bank-specific fuel corrections based on dual o2 sensors. We are able to pre-wire the EMS harness making it completely plug & play when purchased with a Platinum EMS.

Pricing is very affordable - as low as $236 for a single sensor setup, and as high as $379 with dual sensors and a gauge. This makes it a better value than anything else on the market.

This is a very nice offering Hal. I've noticed differences as high as 10% bank to bank at low air volumes (max vacuum) - w/ stock lower DE plenum.

Question, why would i not get the assembly with a single sensor then buy a "replacement" for the second one and get it for 8 bucks cheaper?

Kinda interesting to think about

PS. PM me pricing for sensor, gauge, assembly, and "replacement cable" to my door 66206

Question Dual Wideband Sensor Manufacturer

Does your kit come with O2 sensors? If so, who's the manufacturer?

Yes, it appears you found a loop hole in the pricing structure. You can add them however you like and order online. 350Zmod.com Haltech Wideband AFR Controller

Can you swap out the Bosch O2 sensors for a better brand? I havn't had the best luck with bosch O2 sensors.

Is it a two-in-one gauge for the dual set-up?

Most likely because of the controller you are using, not the sensor. Haltech has made big promises about the durability thanks to their advanced controller which I plan to fully put to the test here soon. I will find out if you can switch to another sensor though, but it will be next week as Haltech is closed through the weekend.

Also, the gauge is single display. You would need two gauges if you wanted to view both banks, though I don't know many people who can watch two gauges, tach, road, etc at the same time... data logger!

Default Dual O2 Sensors

Nope; it was the bosch O2 sensor.... but that was several years ago. In your experience, is their O2 sensors better quanity now-a-days?

Could you go gaugeless and get the info streamed into a carpc display if the HalTech is connected live to the PC? I have 6 guages in the car now and can't afford anymore.

Actually I think I saw a video that the HalTech will display a$$loads of typical gauge data on a screen if it's linked to a carpc?

Correct, you could go gaugeless and display it in the haltech software via laptop or carputer. The Haltech user interface is completely customizable, so you can put as many or few gauges as you want. You can size them however you like on the screen, or even choose to display them as dial, number, list, trace graph, etc. You can even change the colors/font etc if you want to go crazy!

The only guage I have in the car is my wideband..theres no need for other gauges with the Haltech..like if the car overboosts, it cuts out hard..
