Same thing. They do crazy things.

Mine would drop by like a 1/8 tank everytime I started the car no matter what. Even if i just started then turned off then started (and waited for it to adjust), and turned off, etc.....would just keep doing it.

Acts totally different now with the triple pump hangar lol.

wow, would really like to go off on a rant about greek mythology and pandora's box being a gift from Zeus to prometheus. And how the the whole concept of a box was actually misinterpreted from its original language (Greek), you see "pithose" meant a human sized jar used for storing wine, human remains, etc... Pandora was sent to earth to Prometheus and was given the gift/curse of curiosity. There she opens the "box" and let out many evils on all of mankind. So to post pandoras box and reply that this thread is totally ok makes no sense to me. Unless i can hear your reasoning behind your post as well as the other member "doug" about the aps kit.

I understand that, thats exactly what i did. the only downside is that the kits are dicontinued so my a$$ is out of luck if i ever have a problem with a part. then it will most likely come down to custom fabrication. I actually already had to get one part fabricated during installation cus of some fitment problems.

There is plenty of info available on the APS ST kit. Asking another member why not to buy a certain item in someone's thread who already has purchased the said item is IMO opening Pandora's Box and does nothing for the the OP who is merely posting up his experience.

So your saying i opened pandoras box in your point of view. hmmm... kind of weird but if thats your opinion then ok. And i wasnt asking him why not to buy this item. i wanted to know why not a new one instead of the used just like he posted. I already have the kit so i wasnt asking him why not to buy it at all.

the answer is very simple.

1) i can buy a used exhuast, used intake , used pulley... but for me i would never buy turbo used, engine enternals used, EMS used.... some other ppl can .. but i cannot. i use to think of buying used but after some bad experiences i had.. no never.. simple things ok .. complicated things big NO.

2) i live in the other part of the world... if i buy a used kit from the US. who is going to check it for me .. i cant buy it over the net and pay that much of money, then maybe the person wont send me the suff. powned big time.... or maybe i will recieve a bad turbo.. who knows.. so i prefered to get it new.. plus yes i got it for 3800$ ... can you beat that

Did the manufacturer (no name) forget to put your crosspipe in the kit when they sent it over to you.

Totally what i wanted to hear, I bought the kit for around that same price. I just dont see the reason to buy a used turbo. With all the stuff that could go wrong MIGHT AS WELL START OUT FRESH

in an N/A environment yeah but boosted cars should only be using the stock or for high boost vehicles really should be using some sort of harmonic balanced pulley.
