Default Just had to drive home in a Blizzard...

I recently purchased a set of OEM 17's from a member here with near new Blizzacks on them. I ended up working a little later than planned, and if your in the Northeast, your getting slammed right now. I have a base model, so the traction control is in my right foot.
The Z was great in the snow, didnt see any boost, but it was fun. Kept an eye on the water temp to make sure I didnt have a grill full of ice. Just had to watch out for other drivers. I also passed quite a few trucks and SUVs on the highway.
The only tricky thing was my diff. If I let off the gas, the rear tended to lock up a bit( Nismo). Oh well. I made it. Pointless story, but arent most of them anyway? lol..
Boosted Z in the snow

Just as an FYI.
The traction control in these cars is horrible in the snow anyway....ugh....last year (when the G was stock) got caught in 2 blizzards....car does not rotate the way you expect it to with VDC on.....had to turn it off QUICKLY to avoid an accident. Once it was off the car was very predictible...just like any other rwd car

In my time with the g and with the blizzacks it seems to do much better with the T/C off.

How does it feel to look death in the eye and come out a winner?
