And yes, driving the car and having nothing to worry about is great, and makes it that much more enjoyable.

Don't blow your internals. Hate to see all that good work go to waste if you booted it too high.
I skimmed through the pages, but why did you decide on your turbo placement/location? (less piping, quicker spool I suppose?)

With the turbo under the car it is still close enough to the engine so I don't have any lag issues. I think it is the same amount of piping as any other ST kit that is mounted in the stock intake box location. I get full boost at
3100rpm, so it's perfect.

Well, I finaly hit the dyno today. Here are the results. It looks like I am only getting 3.8-4psi of boost. This is according to the Haltech log, so I will have to look into this. The w/g spring is 5.88psi, so clearly there is a discrepency. My boost gauge reads about 5psi, but they are not all that accurate anyway.
It looksl like I need to work on my timing. There is a 1 deg. difference between my lowest HP and my highest, and the graph is somewhat choppy. My A/F is about 10.8-11.2 through out the entire rpm range, so tha is fine.
I will also be getting a boost controller and bumping the boost to about 8psi. I am now happy with how things are working and feel comfortable upping the boost. Once tuned I will post more numbers.

Very nice starting place for 4.5psi.
I would get a 7psi spring for the wg and hold the boost at around 8-10 psi with a boost controller.
On a side note, if you are ever in Lexington Ky you need to let Hal @ Injected spend about 45 minutes with that Haltech and you would be amazed what he can do with timing and cam phasing on the rev-ups.

I know what you mean about IP and Hal. It's just that I don't plan on driving 2000 miles shouth any time soon. A few of us wated to fly him up here for a day or two, but I don't think it's worth his time unless he stays for a week.

grats on the build my friend. there are too few of us willing to try and build our own stuff. My friend and I hand built my entire twin turbo kit from manifolds right down to custom IC. we even designed and built our own RFS. I havent made a thread on this forum. (mainly because I get tired of assclowns piping in and talkin smack)

You are welcome.
Smal update as well I guess. Everything is still working flawlesly. Recenlty I went to a local G/Z meet and took the car on a 100 mile trip. Did a crap load of highway pulls (4th and 5th gear) no problems at all.
I am looking at making a few kits this winter..there is plenty of interest locally.
