Default What PSI for 400whp in a Greddy TT?

How many PSI would be needed to get 400whp from a Greddy TT? Approx 9? Which TIAL springs would be good to start with for that target?

you'd probably make more than that on 9 psi with your setup larry. how was your race today?

Should be lower than 9psi coz TN at 9psi is close to 400whp. TT should have more volume so my guess is 7-8psi..

I believe the 60-1 (I believe rated at 65lbs/min) can flow around 50lbs at 9psi before it start to pass its efficiency. The 18g (believe rated around 43lbs/min) is capable of blowing 35lbs at 9psi so with twin you can blow 70lbs/min with the Greddy TT.

You have to either chose between the 0.6 Bar or the 0.7 the first one is 8.7 PSI the 2nd one is 10.1 PSI but when you count the Pressure Drop From Intercooler etc it will be around 9.5-9.6 something i guess, so now between the Small Blue the 8.702 PSI Spring or the Large Yellow 10.153 PSI Spring.

You know it all depends on the dyno you are on . A west coast tuner with a dynojet can do it with 6psi . Someone else will need 8 to 9 psi

Good point.

On average, i would say about 8psi. I would step up the .6 bar spring. I have tried the .8 Bar spring, and it game me a steady 9psi.

Are you trying to detune to keep the heat down?

I made 408whp on 8.5psi with a VERY conservative tune. I am running 8.5lb springs in my WG's.

I would think he is trying to Bracket Race. Or get placed in a certain class. If thats the case...hide the boost control also.

I am just making a few new MAPs for lower power for different tracks. Throttle modulation in this car is a handfull to say the least at 565 whp. I think I will be faster around the track with less power. I'd like to try it and see. Actually I don't have any sign of overheating issues. All is well there.

On Sharif's dyno I put down 387whp at 8.8psi. Keep in mind, I had asked Sharif tune the car relatively conservatively since my Z was my DD at the time (I've since gotten a nice little DD). I'd say between 8-9psi should do you just fine.

I think the concensus on stock head/cams is bout 8psi for just over 400rwhp.

But if you have cams and/or headwork it'll take less boost.
