for you in the dominican republic you probably will not be able to find a unichip tuner. I think if you plan on tuning yourself and doing the steep learning curve of going that route the utec is the only option. also, others on this forum may send you a premade tune from their setup on their utec if you ask real nice.

if you have someone in mind that will do your tuning then I would ask what they prefer to use.

I have an F-CON V Pro, and I really, really like it. But, I have Japtrix within 30 minutes of my house and Roger (Japtirx) is incredibly knowlegable. If I did not have Japtrix so close, personally I would go with Haltech. It is more expensive, but anyone who really knows what they are doing can program it. Thus, if you have a good tuner authorized to work on the F-CON, go with that. If not, go whith Haltech.

Haltech I think is the best EMS out there. Best customer service and alot of nicer features then other EMS's out there.

Get utec. everyone can tune it and its enough for a vortech supercharged. You dont need haltech or vpro unless your going power crazy.

Yeah that is very true. Utec is very esay to tune. The Haltech and Vpro do get alot more complicated.

Its all subjective... and there are a TON of options out there.

Use what the person tuning the car is most comfortable with.
