i know the HR Y pipe is larger than the DE's.
We ran stock exhaust from Y pipe back for motor break in....it is VERY restrictive as to be expected. When we pulled the exhaust off, threw it on dyno just to see what it would do, boost controller at same settings it jumped from 11psi w exhaust on to 24+psi with open dumps......yea.....crazy.....
Mine is customized all the way back to the stock muffler which is basically gutted now....nice sleeper look and sound is awesome though.
good luck on the build

We've taken all of the guess work and research out of putting together the Pathfinder Cooling Mod Package. You can order everything you need quickly and easily from Z1. The Pathfinder Cooling Mod allows you to add a rear coolant crossover to promote more even cooling and water temps throughout your engine. We keep all of these componants in stock and have installed them in house so we know that they work and fit together.
