Here is my updated projection (based on my updated fuel flow calculator):

800 whp on DD: 22.5 psi

900 whp on DD: 25.7 psi

900 whp on DJ: 22.5 psi

1000 whp on DJ: 26.2 psi

Mike, let me know how close these are to your final numbers.

/\ Assuming the motor makes 300rwhp, so the turbo setup needs to cover 700rwhp and the heads/cams/intake flow.....we'll say 26rwhp/psi of boost.....so thats 26.9psi of boost

so thats my guess knowing very little and assuming it cracks the 4 digit numero

C'mon mike....give us the low boost stuff already

Terry - when speaking to Dave @ F:T about the differences between his DD and other DJs he said that he has seen evidence that the more power a car makes, the greater the difference between the dyno numbers. He had a stroked TT Viper on his DD that was under 1000whp on his dyno, but did a crazy high number on a DJ, I can't recall the exact numbers.

I'm just saying teat what we may see is that at 600whp the correction to DJ may be +11% and at 800whp it may be more like +13%. Either way, I'm sure Sharif and Mike will find a way to meet their goal.... they always do .

More importantly different dynos... Comparing across dynos is a futile exercise. I'm not saying SP inflates their #s, but every shop has a different standard practice (and why Sharif chooses one that results in some of the lowest #s across the country is beyond me). So comparing cars within the same shop, even if conditions and builds are different might have some merit. This type of comparison has none (of course imo ).

And to continue with Raj and Chris's post.......I made OVER 100whp more on a DJ than I did on FP dyno.....14% above FP DD......Thats why I will only need a little over 800 whp on FP dyno to reach my goal So as Chris has stated "Either way, I'm sure Sharif and Mike will find a way to meet their goal.... they always do"...

Also.....from what I saw at ZdayZ....Raj and Toast made more on the same kind of dyno...

Terry and Tom......something coming soon !!

You are probably right. Roger told me that his old dyno read about 10% lower than a DJ, so that is what I based it on. His new dyno reads about the same as the old one (they are both Mustang Dynos).

I'm looking forward to it!!!!!!

If I remember correctly, you are shooting for 900 whp on a DJ, and are tuning for that. Let us know whether you and Sharif think you are at the limits of the log manifolds, or whether you think there is more hp available with them... That will help to answer some of the questions we are going back and forth on in another thread.

Oh of course, no 2 dynos will ever be same, or even close in most cases.

SP's and Forged (especially forged) are known for reading "LOW" in the eyes of most....lots of chi-folks complain that SP's dyno reads low. I guess I should be happy that I still make good numbers on a low reading dyno lol
