Actually from my knowledge only Stillen S/C will require you to get a different hood. The Stillen are more than one kit and I forgot which one will require a different hoot. Anyway I would recommend a Vortech over a Stillen kit.

^^ thanks for the info. when taken a look at the F/I thread on differnt turbo or supercahrgers etc, how come supercharger time is slower if they are putting out same power, could it be that they are running less boost?
also when i was reading the thread, it didnt talk about the longevity of the car for supercharged. any input, this is with stock and not built motor

Actually yes, all of your questions are answered in the "forced induction for noobs" you just have to have some time on your hands if you expect to read all of it.

Unless you go for the HKS unit which seems to be doing pretty damn good as far as supercharger torque goes. Tickle it with a bit of nitrous, and your beyond turbo territory.

to the op, search, btw I have more torque than hp with GTM HKS SC setup.
Rev, I just got the CAMP2 setup btw, still waiting on the fuel pressure sensor and oil temp/pressure sensors, but the rest are connected, along with the AFK. A great setup, but the oem screen doesn't provide the greatest display for the camp2.

-High torque numbers is really what bends rods and destroys stock blocks. Turbo power curves will amost always display more torque than HP. SC's typically have a more linear curve with more hp than trq.
hope that helps.
