Default Rough idle with haltech/ powerlab-HELP

I am having a difficult time with stabilizing my idle when my fans/ a/c kicks on. The a/f jump around from lean to rich and finally stabilizes at 14.5. At this point the fans or a/c is running and my a/f is stable but I still has an rough idle especially when my coolant temps get between 205 Fand 212 F. I have been working with Hal at IP but have not been able to come up with a fix. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you start with the basics?

Vacuum leaks is usually the common cause for varying A/F and rough idle issues

Your injector dead time calibration is probably a wee bit off - that would explain the transient AFR change when the fans kick in. Did you get those from your injector manufacturer? It allows you to compesate for variations in voltage (since voltage drives the injectors). Your CTS/ATS calibration tables also need to be dialed in. I would talk to your tuner or Hal if you are not comfortable mucking around with it. Once properly set up, esp. with dual widebands, the Haltech provides for a smooth engine and power delivery, always!

When in doubt, PM Hal@IP, he is the Haltech Zen Master. He can usually sort these things out over the phone or PM.

Hal spent a lot of time teaching me, so he deserves the credit - just trying to help him out. Cass is right, Hal is a wizard with many things, Haltech included. I know many shops are slammed with cars before ZdayZ, so he's probably spread thin at the moment...
