ECU throttle codes
Funny!
That aside, the car ran fine today sans utec. I sent it for repair yesterday.
The stock ECU runs the 600 cc injectors fine. It starts, idles, and drives under low loads without a problem. It idles at af of 14.7; same for cruising... 14.7.
The only time it runs rich and dumps fuel is if you stomp on the gas. Then the ecu goes to open loop mode and dumps fuel based on preset tables that don't work with 600 cc injectors. But as long as you don't mash the gas, the car is completely drivable with afr's between 12 and 15.

yeah the stock ECU will try to keep that AF, the 02 sensors are probably working overtime and your short and long term fuel trims are probably wild, but it should work, probably get a code for running rich eventually.
wow, thats an echo of what i said

I have similar throttle isues from time to time. I had the dealer change the TB twice. I still have the same issue. It comes in spirts and then goes away for months at a time.
I think it may be the other throttle senso, located on the gas pedal. maybe, I'll buy a new gas pedal assembly and try that some time.

after my utec install also having idling problem stalling most of the time , tried scaling and still the same. scanned and sowing tp sensor. clearing it doesn't sort the problem and it come back. i am guessing you can't get this sensor separately from the tb
So as a follow-up, car finally refused to run in anything other than limp mode. I called turboxs and they said to send in the UTEC. I took the Utec off, and the car ran fine with the stock ecu for about a month. No codes, no limp mode.
I had my wife send the utec back to turboxs. I told her to send it back "just priority". So she sent it back "just priority".... ie. no delivery confirmation, no insurance, etc. Of course, the USPS lost my UTEC. Sooooo, after much emotional consternation, I broke down and purchased a new Utec.
I installed the new Utec on Sunday. The car has been running fine for four days. I get in the car to leave work today and my check engine light is on. I pull the codes and guess what... #1122 and 1126. The exact same codes that the old utec was throwing. Normally I would say, "OK, two utecs, same codes, maybe it's my car" but I already replaced the throttle body and the car ran with no throttle body codes for a month on the stock ecu so it must be the utec.
I can deal with the engine light from time to time, but if this thing starts going into limp mode again..... I'll probably pull my hair out, then part out the car. I'm nauseous over something being wrong with the car everyday for over 4 months.

That sucks man, like I said before I get those same codes. Whats interesting is I have only got limp mode in this certain parking space that is slightly angled up hill. It's happened 3 times there and NOWHERE ELSE. Do you notice you get limp mode when parked at certain angles???? Or maybe theres some kind of black hole voodoo in that area? LOL
I wonder if solidifying the engine's and ECU's grounding would help. Do you have a grounding kit and is it tied into the ECU's ground?
