I know your teasing. that doesnt bother me. I was just trying to give the OP my opinion. Im running the JWT 700bb also. And like you my car has all the done mods to it. It hasnt left me yet and always delivers good clean power. At 15.5psi the car makes 571whp..and thats running pretty rich.

As fo rthe 700 hp thing, I was just using that number as a refrence, to say dont build for the power you want, build beyond that and be safer!

Ah yes, you recently picked up that car built down at PF - that car made nice power and had all the upgrades - very nice. Just not cost effective to do that kit now though.

Folks here all generally overbuild when they do build. Other than the Mad Scientist's experiment with HR head bolts, the aftermarket piston, rod, L19 combo on stock sleeves will hold what most kits will put out and then some. No worries. Builds don't fail for lack of quality part selection...
