Default Trying to change out my 3.12 pulley from my Vortech and its hitting the blower unit..

I assume that I either have to loosen and move the blower or I was wondering if I can move the jack shaft pulley. What is the best way to do this? I was really hoping to just change out this pulley for my 2.87 but it looks like its not going to be that simple. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I know you can remove the jack shaft pulley.

Edit:
There is only two way,

1. remove the jack shaft pulley
2. take out whole bracket/blower

Mine was frozen too just take the bolt out that holds the pulley and put a torch to the area where the bolt came out of and it will slide like butter.

haha I know I know, I should of listened to you a year ago on this but Sharif was against it so its his fault Nah but it did give me a chance to run the car at a moderate level and I have really enjoyed the 3.12. Since its ran well for about 5000 miles its now time to step things up a bit, I can't wait!

So if I remove the 4 bolts that hold the jackshaft pulley will the whole mechanism pull away? This seems like the easier way and I lock-tighted all the bolts that hold my supercharger head unit in so I'd rather not mess with that.

You'll have to remove the cog pulley and sebsequently the whole shaft assembly. It's pretty straight forward and much easier to do if you have a strap wrench.

Thanks man, that's what I was thinking. Now that I think about it I recall having to do this because I installed my 3.12 after I installed everything and I recall using a strap wrench on the cog pulley to get it off. I'll take some pics. I think I can get away with loosining the bolts and sliding the cog assembly away rather than removing in completely. Thanks for all of the advice everyone.

The whole thing has to come out to provide enough clearance, it's pretty straight forward and should only take a few minutes to do.
