Your motor will max out on pump gas before the 18g's are maxed out. In other words, on pump gas you will not be able to get to the limit of the 18g's, let alone the 20g's.

no offense taken... I guess what im trying to say is im not gonna run c16, etc, etc..Im pretty sure im not explaining myself right. I run my car hard, i want a motor than can run hard.

I wish they didnt un-sticky the Built Motor Thread as it had some good info i wanted to reread and reference to align my goals..

thats music to my ears cause i love my greddy kit.. I just dont see myself filling up on c16 or keeping a barrel or whatever of special mix gas in my garage. I just wanna pump and go..At most id do a meth kit. but i would like a pump gas 600plus motor.. I been reading some old threads and i know Alberto has some damn impressive numbers... very inspiring..

I know he and others had some things in the "Built motor guys What do you regret" thread about what parts they do/dont would of used to get to where there at. Im ready to start buying my motor and just wanna get my s**t together and right..

The skirts on the Wiseco pistons come coated. You can pay extra for the piston tops to be done, but takes a bit of time (as well as $)

these are the ones that went into my engine, just as a picture reference

I used these pistons when i rebuilt my 1972 mach1 and never had a problem and that car was running low 11's all day long.

Can't say I've heard of anyone running MAHLE, but they came highly praised by many of my performance class teachers at UTI. As well we used as many of their products as possible on the Merc's and BMW's that came into our shop, if I remember correctly they are an OEM distributor as well.

Like Sound Performance, Intense also prefers Wiseco pistons for their high power Supra and VQ builds.

^ not sure if they bought cosworth but they sell top of the line products...
i'm most probably going to use MAHLE when building my engine.( less piston slap,9.2 CR)
I aslo read lots of good reviews on Wiseco too, but i guess cp, je, wiseco, arias etc are all the same...
