There has been a number of people who have had repeated snapping of the cog belt on the back side from the accelerated wear that comes from high rpm use.

This is also one of the reasons why DSport dropped their supercharger project.

Ya a snapped cog belt will f you day up quick
and good luck to tryin to get 550-600 with a T-trim. Just wont happen without ridiculous NA cams, and a blower bigger than a T-trim

The blown up ECU has me all sorts of

Details please.

But, to answer the 500HP question ... I'd be willing to bet you could make that with the 928 impeller, their 2.6 pulley and probably cams.

ya the belt frayed like you see, slapped and exposed the wires going to my IVT solenoid, which shorted my UTEC and the IVT controller on the stock ECU.

and dont think it was bc of lack of maintenance. When they wanna go, they just go...

So 15$ belt caused 1500$ in damage. Thats why i think people are crazy saying that superchargers are safer than turbos. All the mechanical parts for a supercharger are problems waiting to happen.
