If you tapped it correctly, those threads will hold up to whatever boost you can throw at it.

Lets go with the assumption of a bad tap. Oh well, im going to buy some jb weld today and see what happenes.

if you are worried about the tap, just get a "weld bung" and have it welded to the manifold.....Use a -4an or -6AN aluminum weld bung.
