Default 272 Cams on VQ35DE Daily Driving?

Hi Guys,

I am planing for GT Motorsport Camshaft 272 for my 350z VQ35DE, 2004 Automatic.

My Car have:
  • aFe Air Intake
  • Skunk2 Plenum Spacer
  • Titek Test Pipe
  • Borla Cat-Back
  • Greddy E-Manage Ultimate Tuning

I got 240 whp on Dyno Dynamics with above modifications.

my Q:

It 272 cam good for my car?

Its ok for daily driving?

How many wHP i will get?

If needs more modifications before Camshaft, please advice
.

Thanks in advance.

You can make plenty of HP (700+whp DJ) with 264* with the right turbos and fuel mods. The bigger the cam, the later the power will show up and the higher you may have to bump your idle.

I just re-read your OP and IMO you should skip the cams and get some turbos. N/A mods are a waste of money

Cams that top end oriented on an auto car will make you much slower out of the hole. I would reconsider that choice.

OP, considering your build, IMO new cams are way too expensive for the results you will obtain.

For N/A setup i would recommend Nismo (262) or any cams that's not above 264.

you couldn't be more wrong

there is an entire section dedicated to NA builds - I'd recommend the OP start there and study the threads of those who have done it already
