what do you think I need for making high hp?

The Haltech folks in Australia are aware. The funny part about it is that some of their older platforms have the extra features. Anyway, 1.06 is supposed to be the "merge" of the old and new platforms with best of both worlds for the Platinum units. I'm hopeful, but we'll see. SEMA isn't that far off...

if w/m injection fails since there's no obvious input canal that can be used.

All I have to do ispress the button on the gauge of my HSF-5 and the ViPEC recognizes the meth is on and immediately switches maps. The transition is seemless and smooth. Rip off a run, turn it back off, close the cubby door and you would never even know I have it .
The ViPEC guys are from AUS too, I think.

There is a general ignition retard in the snapshot above, but that's not the 350Z unit. The Sport 1000 targets a different market. The ViPEC looks nice but I've not seen the level of integration with stock CAN systems in any other EMS as with the Haltech. I don't think the ViPEC has reached this level of development. The Haltech does need to release v1.06 (I've been told it exists and is in testing) along with their I/O box for additional aux inputs/outputs.
I have gone ahead with my HFS install and am implementing W/M injection with the Haltech cutting boost pressure with a lean AFR or knock or the HFS6 cutting boost pressure due to a flow failure. With this setup, you don't even need to push a button. Just integrate the meth into your active map but tune for it only in the upper boost levels (for me it will be tuned for meth above 12 psi). My wastegate spring pressure of 9 psi will automatically activate if an error condition exists (latch triggered so I'll have manual switch in the center console to reset back to normal operation). The Aquamist HFS6 gauge also has a W/M disable button that will trigger the failsafe condition (and automatically cut boost pressure on my setup).

I fund the update on Haltech forum and I thought that the update was to be for all platinum series...
I don't use Haltech for boost control since want to be able to quick boost controll. I load 14PSI for daily drive but in wet condition it's on WG spring rate. I also have a high setting on my GReddy Profec E01 and in addition a Greddy switch on my steering wheel for over-take boost so I won't be over taken
So I guess I have to do some serious setup on using either a CoolingMist or Aquamist system, using the boost cut line and have a tuning as described. But I use the Haltech generic output for my shift light so I guess I can't use Haltech for cutting boost Haltech sucks *****...

So far I orded this upgrades for my build engine:
Carbonetic, (standard plate, 1350kg pressure plate, light flywheel (9.9lbs)
DriveShaft Shop 350z pro level axels
Cosworth Intake Manifold + Spacer for fuel rails
Deatschwerks 950cc Injectors
BC stage 2 cams
BC valve springs kit and titanium retainers
Ferrea +1mm valves
CNC Main girdle
Rear coolant bypass
Revup Oil Pump
HKS head gaskets
ACL race rod & main bearings
Heat wrap or exhaust manifold
Haltech Air Temperature sensor
Fuel swirl tank w/ AN10 fittings
Aeromotive stuff: pre pump 100micron filter
A1000, fuel pump
post pump 10micron filter
A1000 fuel pressure regulator
vibration dampening mounting kit
Now I’m not shure about the injectors, since I might want to convert to E85 I'm looking at Precision 1600cc’s…
For now I don’t see W/M as an option due to lack of safety so E85 may be a smarter choice

I'll guess the 1.06 update is going to make the Haltech a non-sucking EMU but I'm going towards E85.
Don't know if Haltech can handle low-impedance 1600cc's during idle, anyone got some input?

I would talk to Hal to confirm, but I believe it should be ok as that's what IP's green monster runs. I run HKS 1000 cc low impedance injectors with no idle issues.

hej gunnar... det ser godt ud!!! fantastisk stykke arbejde der!!
ok switching to english now...
my only question is, I'm aiming for a Chargespeed rear also.. but how do u fit your license plate on it?

Thanx man
Mange takk
The stock license plate don't fit, so I had to call the authority to get a special permission (dispans), but that was no problem at all and I got it over phone.
